Growing up in the Northeast, Kara’s family traveled across the United States and through the Caribbean to escape the harsh winters. However, after college, her travels took on a deeper purpose. She sought to experience countries and cities not just as a tourist, but through the eyes of locals. Over the years, her adventures have taken her across Europe and more recently into Asia where a life-changing trip to Turkey ultimately shaped her next chapter.
Before venturing into the world of travel planning, Kara began her career in the hospitality and destination management industry, followed by a successful career in the technology sector. There she honed her strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex logistics while still maintaining a personal touch. Kara’s passion for travel is matched by her commitment to healthy living. Exercise, wellness, and self-care are central to her philosophy, and she encourages her clients to embrace these practices, no matter where their journeys take them. Whether exploring new destinations with her husband and daughter or spending cherished moments with her family in Nantucket, Kara exemplifies how travel and wellness can go hand in hand.
